Cult Affections is an American Alternative Rock Band from Houston, Texas formed in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic by lead singer, Grant Varner. Deviating from the prominent Hardcore and Indie culture of Houston, Cult Affections is a melting pot of sounds inspired by alternative music of the 90's and early 2000's.  The list of influences  is ever extensive from Gothic/Alternative-Rock groups like Type-O Negative, MCR, HIM, Placebo, Three Days Grace, and The Misfits to Industrial/Nu-Metal names such as Nine Inch Nails, Marylin Manson, Sepultura, SOAD, Korn, and SO much more… Cult Affections marries these influences with a level of visual production  non-too common. Gothic theatrical art is the bread and butter for this motley crew and that is evident in the fever project that is the recently released Multi-Award- Winning Music Video for ''Where Angels Fear to Tread'' from their debut 2024 EP ''The Envenom Series''. There is pride to be felt in the way the band simply spits in the face of creative limitation as there are no bounds in the world they've cultivated for their fans.
