Based in Houston, Texas since 2019 Cult Affection is branded at the crossroads between high production value and extreme DIY for all their theatric/dramatic video content. Musically they pull from the sounds offered in the late 90's/early 2000's in Alternative & Industrial Metal, Gothic, and Post-Hardcore/Garage Rock; often neglected genres in the modern age.
Having just released their latest single “Calendars” a quiet, experimental, departure from the aggressive, pop-punk, death-rock sounds of their debut EP “The Envenom Series”, Cult Affections prepare for at least two new singles and music videos within the “Envenom Series” era before embarking on their sophomore large-scale release of “Dead Villains".

“Amidst the industrial haze of Houston, where oil refineries paint the horizon and the music scene flips through punk, indie, and hardcore acts like a broken Rolodex, Cult Affections have quietly carved a lane of their own.” - Karol Kamiński
“The production value behind this song, the song itself, the creepiness of it all, but also the perfection of it all– just absolutely a chef’s kiss. I know it’s early this year, but this song may very well end up in my favorite tracks of the year.”
